The guiding arm is driven together with the mobile clamp, so adjustment of the mobile arm to the piece width is completely automatic. During the cutting process, the mobile arm is blocked hydraulically in order to ensure the cutting quality.
All HDS machine models include a high performance gearbox specially sized for bulky loads at low revolutions. The powerful saw drive motor and gearbox provide the best torque and power for a wide range of materials.
Material fastening is done at either side of the blade, avoiding burrs, as material remains totally fastened until the cutting operation is completed. Any manual adjusting of the material width is not required: the stroke is fully automatic. The clamping vice can be tilted back on all models in order to facilitate feeding of the material.
The feeding vice provided in the automatic version of HDS is especially strong for work with heavy pieces. In addition to strength, its construction has been designed to allow an easy handling and loading of bulky parts. The clamping vice of the feeding carriage can be tilted back to facilitate feeding of the material.
